Ok I have a ScanGauge.....now what?

I just recieved my ScanGauge today and I'm wondering how you guy's use them.
You use it mostly for Gas info?

I haven't played with it too much but it seems that I can get Horsepower at the flywheel and torque at the torque converter. But they look realtime and I don't think it stores the max. That would be nice if it did.

Anyway I was just wondering how and what you use yours for?

My 4 gauges are:

tach, speed, throttle pos, and MPG. i love the trip function. plus the fact my cyl 1 keeps misfiring keeps that pesky CEL off....

Love the ScanGauge II, very neat little tool.

1. MPH (I have larger than stock tires)
2. MPG
3. Tranny Temp
4. Water Temp

I have the older one and read MPH ,MPG ,volts and Water Temp, I noticed that it runs 2 degrees cooler with the k&N filter over the stock filter and when I put some new tires on I lost some gas mileage.

Question, does it have both instantaneous and average MPG, or just average?

Under the trip function you can recall the average MPG. When using the Xguage for real time readings it will display real time MPG info.

I have displayed
Trans Temp
Torque converter torque
Water temp
MPG
