Please don't put them in reflector housings. Also my vote is for 4300K, anything over 6K is ghey IMO. Personally I think HIDs in our size trucks are unnecessary. In order to not blind everyone in front of you you need to aim the lights down so much they are not as effective as intended.

Hids are great a few of my friend runs them on everything they own including their fog/running lights but they advised me not go above the 8k for the simple fact if tanything goes out it takes longer to get the parts is all though and the 10k is a purple color instead of a blue color dont know what you were wanting the color to be but aqny after market headlights will change the brightness and the color slightly. go to youtube and type in steve mead designs and he installs a set in an 05 F-150 and shows how to and where to buy

I have the DDM tuning kit and it is completely plug and play. I didn't need a relay. 55w 6000k for the headlights and 35w 6000k for the fogs. Here's a few pics of them.

i have 8000K and they are a perfect color not too blue but not too white. i have herd alot of good thing about Retro Solutions HID kits and i just ordered mine today cuz my current HID kit is not Bi-Xenon and i need Bi-xenon to pass inspection. i would not get projectors for a truck, i had them on mine and i hated them. they looked nice but i felt like i was blind at night. im going to put HID's in the fogs pretty soon.
