Train horns.

Im going to put train horns on my 02 f150 x cab, the people at extreme bedliners want 350 for the horns tank compressor and installation, where would the best place be to mount the compressor? how loud is the compressor? they want to mount it under the back seat. im not sure of the brand of the horns but they have them mounted on a four wheeler and when they honk the horn the four wheeler rolls back. Any thoughts?

most photos i have seen, the compressor is mounted on the underside of the truck bed. i would love to do the same thing myself and always wondered where you mount the compressor.

i have the hornblaster shocker kit from hornblasters.com. its $500 but i got it for $400 shipped. i talked to Garret there very helpful and lowered the price. these horns are freaking loud i mean LOUD. i love them and so does everyone else. check out my photos i have some install pics, i fabbed up a custom braket that holds all four horns and tank and compresser. the compresser sits way up high right side up away from water. it took alot of time but its done pretty clean and legit.

My compressor and tank are in the toolbox away from the elements.
