Grille swap - installed black h-bar... pics

Some people have been following my truck transformation from stock to current, and one thing that I was wanting to do was change the chrome grille for a black grille. I found and bought one from another member here (thanks Smokeybear) and I received it yesterday. Installed it last night...

The removal of the chrome insert was quite tough - those little clips are a beast - but I was able to remove the insert from the PTM surround without any broken clips/tabs! Installing the new black grille was very easy - pressing the clips into place all the way around.

Next step - removal of the grille emblem. This is where I had a little trouble. I ended up breking off one of the plastic studs off of the back of the emblem. I am trying to "glue" the stud back on but I doubt it will work very well. The "glued" emblem stud was set last night and I am giving it 24 hours to cure and will see what it looks like when I get home tonight.

I am sure I will be on the lookout for new emblems soon... Any ideas? I would realy like to find like powdercoated black with red writing or something of the sorts... Any ideas will be appreciated...

Here are a few pics along with a link to my other thread... Thanks for looking!
