I started a thread like 10 months ago about this thing.

Here's where I first saw it on a Ford.
I usually only see them on Chebys.

Thanks, guys

Out of curiosity, what's the point of this spoiler? Looks alone? Something else to break off? Is there any performance gain to be had? Sorry to be a pessimist, but (like many Lund products) it doesn't look functional to me.

BroncoAZ ,

Well, to each his own. I like the look it gives my truck. Maybe it 's not functional or maybe. I'm not going thru wind tunnel tests to see if there's any performance to be gained. I don't know how you treat your truck, but things only get broke when whooped up on. That spoiler is tougher then you think. Well, again another opinion. That's cool. All I can say is I like the look. If you don't, don't look. Don't get one, an you won't have to worry about it's point, performance, breaking off, or it's need to have company.

I think I treat my truck pretty well, but I also use it to haul lots of heavy stuff frequently. Within a week of buying the truck, most of the bed floor was bare of paint. I do metal fabrication for work.

I definately agree, to each their own. I'm not saying it looks bad, I was mainly wondering if there was another benefit.

BroncoAZ,

That's cool. The only thing it's benefiting is me. It's the appearance look I'm looking for anyway. But, I'm sure it has to put some downforce on the rear somewhere. You'd be surprised how good that thing is secured on there. It has that wide 3-M tape all around. If I had to drill, it wouldn't be on there, that's for sure. I just read my last post again. I guess I did come off alittle bent. Wasn't meant to be BroncoAZ. I understood what you were saying.
