Has anyone tried or heard about this manufacturer of this FIPK...it looks nice and the price is only $80. What do you think?

I read the feedback on the guy, and it seems that if this kit was crap, he'd have lots of negative feedback which this isnt the case, so Id say its worth a shot.

Not yet...

but I really need to replace my airfilter and for $30 more than the K&N drop in...it sounds like it is worth it. Sometime this month I plan on purchasing one (if they are still around) cause I figure I can buy the kit and eventually if I wanted add the K&N cone and still be less than a K&N or AF1 FIPK. I will post pics and thoughts once I make the purchase.

I bet that'll look really sharp in chrome & all. If it's anything like my K&N FIPK, you'll love the sound you get after installing it. Truck just roars! Best of luck.

Just got the kit yesterday and plan on putting it on this weekend. From the looks of it, it seems to be of excellent quality (came with a few small scratches on the chrome plated aluminum tube though). The only problem I see with the kit is there are no instructions so I hope that it is pretty straight forward. I will update my gallery with pics of the intake as well as pics of my new 2003 Skidoo MXZ sled that I am picking up on friday!

Exclamation Well....I got some pics!

But not what you guys wanted...sorry ! They are in another post of mine cause after removing the stock air box...I have no clue what to do with what I believe is the MAF. I got no instructions with the kit, it started to rain, so I put the stock box back on. Hopefully some time soon I will get a response from Megan Racing or help from the board and the new FIPK will be on. I did find a post showing that the Pacesetter FIPK reuses part of the original setup, therefore the MAF "does not have to be surgically removed". So my guess now is that I have to remove the MAF, and incorporate it into the new one?

Talking Finally installed!

I finally got the FIPK all put on. Looks great but not sure on performance (have not driven the truck since). For the money, I have a hard time believing this kit can be beat. The only difference that I am aware of between this kit and the AirForce1 is that the filter end is capped. Someday I will probably just change it out with a K&N or open end filter anyway. The FIPK only cost me $90 ($15 for s/h)...that is only $40 more than just a drop in K&N. Here is a pic for those interested and there are more in my gallery:
