I have a picture of the wheels that are on my NASCAR Edition but can't figure out how to put them on here.. If someone would tell me how to do it, I can end this controversey once and for all. or, go to F150 World and look up NASCAR 1OF600 in the photo gallery and you can see all the evidence for yourself. The only year the NASCAR Special Edition was made was 1998, they only made 3000 and only 600 with the tonnaue cover. The NASCAR package is a lot more than a Nascar sticker and some embroidery on the seats. Check it out and you'll see.

 

I am having a hard time figuring out what the "controversey" in here. i have seen a 98 NASCAR Special Edition. A young lady in town had one and i met up with here and we checked out each others trucks. When i first posted this i had just got my truck, and knowing what i had learned about the 98's i had some questions. I was trying to find some clear cut information about what it had. I knew that i could not be lowered in any form because it sat up taller than my father's 97 f-150. Since the time i forst posted this have found out that NASCAR package i have is an apperance package.

Thank you Jackhel. "The" NASCAR package cost $3990.00 and was only made in 1998 and only 3000 of them then. $150.00 for some stickers and leftover seatcovers doesn't make a limited edition package. That's the point I was trying to make all along.

 

I wasnt saying mine was a "limited edition package" When i first posted this i was trying to found out if it had anything special about it. I learned since then through other research that it is seats, leather steering wheel, and badges.

They come with a lowered suspension,Dual polished stainless steel exhaust tips by roush, Nascar graphics,Nascar 50th anniversary decal on tailgate,color keyed grille surround and mirrors, mesh grill insert,Color keyed front and rear bumpers,16 inch-10 spoke aluminum black wheels,goodyear tires with yellow letters,black clearcoat paint, 4.6L,5-speed manual overdrive transmission(automatic opt.),3.73 gear, tachometer, 40/60 cloth split bench seat,color-keyed carpet,Nascar logo on head restraints,Driver/passenger floormats embroidered with Nascar logo... ..................Also (around 2400-2500 came with the manual trans(not for sure,had someone tell me that)),the rest are auto's....Mine is one of 600 it came with the auto trans,tonneau cover,and rear sliding window in one package..I took my stickers off and put different rims on mine now..

98, Right now i have my stock rims back on..Last time it snowed/froze i hit some ice and went into a ditch,and bent one of polished rims..now i'm trying to decide if i want to buy another rim,and sell the black rims or keep them and sell the 3 polished rims..
