Does anyone know of the size rear and front differential on the 2001 supercrew 4X4. I want to make a gear swap but i'm not sure on the ring and pinion size for front and rear?

I think the rear is a 9.75...Is the front a 8.8????

The front is a reverse cut 8.8 and the rear is an 8.8 if you have the 4.6 and a 9.75 if you have the 5.4.

If you have the 5.4 it is a 9.75.
There are 3 sizes of axle used on the 97+ F-150s. 4.2 & 4.6 all get the 8.8. All 5.4s get the 9.75. The exception is the F250 LD or now it is called the 7700# option which all get the 10.25 regardless of the engine.
