Using Lucus in Diff?

Has anyone ever used Lucus in their rear end? I gotta do a swap today and thought maybe I'd try some.

I installed Lucas 80W90 in my 8.8 (1994 Ranger) when I installed an Eaton-Posi last fall. Also, installed (2) 4 oz. bottles of Dana friction modifier (part# 43161).

I have a friend who has been doing gears for about 25 Years--he absolutely swears by Lucas products in the drivetrain. He would not warranty any work, unless Lucas products were installed.
