The shakes.......

Hi everyone, 1st post,

I have a 99 Expedition. It has the air bag leveling system in it. When I drive down the highway I get a shimmy sp? at about 68MPH that gets worse towards 75 then begins to go away over 80 but never really disapears. I've replaced the shocks, balanced and rotated the tires, had tires checked for round, lastly aligned. You can feel it in the wheel but very slightly, I would say that the entire truck is shaking. When you look at the pass side seat or at a bottle of water in a drink holder you can see them shake.

Any ideas?

Sounds like a malfunction in the air leveling system. This is a common problem on class 8 (big trucks) with air ride on the drive tandem.
