99 4.6l 4x4 f150 with 4.10's????
i have a 4.6l 4x4 99 f150 with 3.55's now i think? i would like to go to 4.10's to cure the overdrive wantinh to kick in and out all the time and for towing i dont tow much but when i tow its disappointing. does any one have a 4.6 with 4.10's im running 275/17 goodyear at/s. ?? gas mileage on the freeway??? hopefully better than like 10. and the other concern is what kinda r's is it goin be turning go 80 on the freeway??

I don't know the exact numbers but. I know you can order a stock 2wd with the 7700 Group option with 4.10 gears for increased towing capacity, and that's with 245/75-16 tires which are smaller than your 275/70-17's. So I think upgrade to the 4.10's would not be to drastic of a change, and would help your towing out nicely.
