Question Rear end diff cover bolt size?

Anyone know what size the bolts are that hold the rear diff cover on? I'm replacing my stock one with a chrome one and I want to replace the bolts with stainless ones.

Thanks,
Bob

You might want to just take one out and look. I just had mine apart but I didn't check the bolt size. What I can tell you, however, is that I think it is probably a metric 8mm x 1.25 but I don't know the length, maybe 20mm? If you dont get a better answer, start there and if they're wrong then take em back and get the right ones. I do sell fasteners part-time so my estimate is going to be pretty close.

For the 9.75 rear I used 5/16"-18 x 5/8"" in a stainless button head with a polished washer.

Uh oh, now I'm a bit confused. I guess there's no way to tell if it's standard or metric except for taking it out and measuring.

Thanks guys,
Bob
