Question Gear change

I am considering a gear change in my 03 Screw 4x4. I am planning to go 4.56 ( I have 35s) with a eaton Elocker in the front and keeping the LS in the rear. Would this be a god set up? Or maybe 4.10s. My truck is 3.73 right now and I just want it to get to the stock config. Any comments would be helpful.
Thanks

Which Axle do you have? I've done a lot of research on the E-Locker if you have any questions. I'd like to put one in my 8.8 but I'm going to try and fix my Powertrax unit first. 4.56 Looks reasonable on the gear ratio guide.

Red face

Ooops,
I have 3.55 gears not 3.73. it is an 8.8, probably helps to acually look at the tag instead of assuming. Anyway, maybe the 4.10 will be a better choice. Thanks for the assist. As far as the Elocker goes, it is the only selective locker I can find for my truck, and the guy at eaton said it won't be available until summer. Is this true? Are there other selectives out there for the front of my truck?
Thanks.

Arb's and Elockers are your only choices for the front of our trucks (selectables). fr the rear, almost every locker is available for the 8.8 31 spline

I was hoping the Eaton was available, but I don't think it probably is. The once place I can find that sells it says it is out of Stock. I've heard a lot about the ELocker but nobody I've talked to has seen one or installed one. Truckperformance.com has a real good price on them though when they do come out. I'm pretty sure they were suppose to be out already but they probably were delayed.

E Locker info.

I emailed eaton and they sent me a CD on the E Locker and some other literature about it. This is where I was informed of it coming out in the summer.

GEARS

I have a 2X4 2000 f150 super cab. I might go with 285's and at the moment I have 265's. What gearing would make my truck run sweet? How much does it cost ushually including labor?

I have 315/75/16's on my truck and am wanting to go to 4.56's as soon as I get the money together to do it. The dealership I bought the truck from put on the lift and tires and it wasn't till I went to a Ford dealer after I had already bought the truck that it only has 3.31's Hell both of the rangers I have owned had 4.10's and one of them was just a 2.3 4 cylinder!
Can not wait to get them done!

Solid looking truck! Yeah, I wouldnt suggest anything other than 4.56 for those tires. I love my truck even more now that it has its power back. I run 2100 rpm at around 70mph. Can anyone tell me if that is good or not? Thanks

p.s. your truck must really be a dog w/ 3.31. I thought mine was bad with the stock 3.55!
