clunk from rear end

I have a 2002 screw w/ 5.4 auto trans 2 wheel drive and have been hearing and feeling a clunk from the rear on slow take off . The dealer ship checked it out at about 10,000 miles and adjusted the shims no more clunk ....well 8000 more miles and clunk had slowly come back to all time again so when i had time I took it back and they feed me some junk about TSB involving trans knock on slowdown ....well thats not what i described to them and they gave me brush off of " well you have 10,000 more miles on warranty just see what happens" Yes i left without killing anyone calmly.... they also told me no service records for my truck show up for past repair....also had new door panel and fuse box installed under warranty plus that re shimming thing.....sorry so long just wondered if anyone else has had this problem.....also first service guy is no longer there that I knew he said they had replaced whole gear sets
