Drivetrain specs?

Is there a website that allows me to type in my VIN# to find out which axles and gears I have? I'd also like to know which t-case and tranny I have.

Its a 97 F-150 with the V6, auto with overdrive, 4WD. Did they all come with the same axles? What gear ratios were offered? Mine had the little bitty tires on 16" wheels, I think they were like 255s or something.

The driver's door jamb sticker should have the transmission code and the axle code. Trans code "U" will be the 4R70W. The axle code will correlate to open or limited slip and a ratio. Post the code or search it here. 4R70W transmission, Borg Warner 4406 transfer case, 8.8" front and rear axles.
