gear question

right now I have a 6" susp with 35" tires and 4.56 gears. I am going back to stock tires and takin the susp out. Should I run the 4.56 or go back to the stock 3.55? will my gas millage drop going from 35" to stock with 4.56 gears?

You'll be running much higher rpms and your highway mileage will stink. Plug your numbers in here and see the rpms.

lol so gas millage will go down the drain worse then it allready is, and it will look like the 5.4 actually has some power. I tried it once with my lift installed and stock tires, and I couldn't even break thoes lose doing a brake stand. My rear end would just go about an extra 2ft up in the air thats about it.

I think my engine is shot, when I hammer it wfo it squeaks going from 1-2nd I thought it was fan belt or something but its not. It shifts out a about 5000rpm. I have dual exhaust and a superchip programmer. I'm wondering if the programmer screwed it up.
