Anyone out there with a 6" rear lift ( no matter what method of lift) with a driveshaft spacer installed? Did the truck's driveshaft needed the extension or just playing safe? If yes, where did you get it and how much?

 

i have alittle more than 6 in the rear 4.5" block and 2.5" add a leaf
and i still have like 5 inches of driveshaft in the tranny, no problems i have a supper cab dont know if the other modles have the same driveshaft or not, hope the info helps

 

bigtruck311, how different is your actual ride with the add a leaf vs. the stock ride?

 

it has been so long since it was stock i couldnt say, i know it is alot stiffer but that is from the custom tuned shocks and the torsion bars cranked all the way, so i couldnt say, sorry
