Lightbulb Any Gear Advice?

Hey All!!!

I have some new pending mods. I'm thinking of going with a Skyjacker 6" lift system, 35x12.5/17 mickey thompson baja claw radials, and 17x10 weld racing rims. I'm wondering what kind of gears I should go with, there so many out there, anyone have any good advice?

i would go with 4.56 or 4.88 for that added low end grunt, genuin gear makes both these sizes and it is what i have used in my F-150 with no problems, self installed and i get no or very little off throttle wine, wich is common with the lower (higher numericly) gears, good luck

I just put 4.56 gears in my f150 with 35" procomps. It is a much better improvement starting off the line. 4.56 will bring you back more closely to what the stock ratio would have been. just make sure you don't go to big.. i have heard of people get some driveshaft vibration but personnally i haven't gotten that. Typically happens when you have smaller tires then get say 4.56 gears on 30" tires. hope this helps alittle
