rear for a mustang
Hey guys i know someone can answer this out here, what kind of rear does an 86 mustang have in it? 8.8 or 7.5?

5.0 or other?

I had an 86 5.0 that was factory with the 8.8 and 3.73 limited slip.
I think, think mind you, that the 5.0 from 86 up had the 8.8 and the 4 or 6 cylinder had the 7.5

98navi is almost correct,the 8.8 was avail in 85 only on 5.0L mustangs with either 2.73 or 3.08 gears. 3.73 was NEVER factory installed in any FOX,SN-95,or S-194 mustangs
