Changin rear end fluid to Amsoil, anyone used Slip-Lock?

Im going to replace my rear end fluid with Amsoil Severe Gear. They also sell an additive for limited slip rear ends called slip-lock. I was wondering if anyone has used this, and if I should use it.

I had to use a couple of bottles of it in mine. Its starting to sound like I need to add another bottle after a couple years of elapsed time because I experience some shudder again. (but it might not be the clutch packs now).
