Question steering fluid in reservoir looks like its boiling!!!

Ok, it's not boiling but it shouldn't be moving around in the reservoir when the engine is on right?

The fluid should just be sitting there? What would make it look like i turned on a blender in the reservoir when i start the engine?

Thanks!

It is supposed to circulate. The pump draws fluid from the reservoir, circulates it through the gear and it gets returned to the reservoir.

Normal..

The air is caused from the cavitaion of air in the lines, steering gear and pump of the vehicle.

If cavitation were to become severe, you will experience difficulty in turning and this could lead to catastropic failure to the gear or pump.
