My 1995 F150 4x4 is currently engaged in 4 wheel drive. It has a 4.9l 5 sp. manual trans. w/ manual hubs. After engaging into 4 wheel low to haul a boat up a ramp, it will not return to 2 wheel hi. I can easily go from 4 wheel hi to neutral and to 4 wheel lo but not to 2 wheel hi. Any sugestions???please!

 

Do you have push button or a shifter? If it is push button, you have to be in neutral with the brake applied. If a manual lever, try backing up a ways first.
