Is it possible to change a transmission from manual to automatic in a 1997 Ford F-150 that is 4x4 with a v8 Triton engine? What would the cost be to do this and what all would need to be swapped out? What do used and new transmissions for these go for nowadays? Does the computer need swapped out or can I use the same one? The truck has a new engine (only 3,000 miles on it) so I figure it might be worth doing if I get a good enough deal.
