how hard would iy be to swap out the rear from an fx4 to a king ranch 4x4? It has to be a perfect match right? 3.73 and a limited slip would be great or should i just step up my own rear? which would be cheaper? something for you guys to think on.

 

Remember, if you change the rear ratio, you have to change the front ratio to the same. So almost twice the work and cost.

 

My buudy just had a 2003 totaled FX4 come through his shop and most of the drive train is intact he said I could take it all for $1000. That is the only reason I ask. I think it would be cheaper just to get all of that and install all the good parts raather than go out and buy all new stuff.
