locking hubs

I have a 97 4x4 F150 and was wondering if you can install locking hubs to help the gas mileage

You can not get a manual locking hub for the 1997 + F150....

No, you cannot. There is no need for them. The only thing that turns is the low-resistance halfshafts. Mileage savings would be minimal at best even if someone developed a hub assembly to accommodate it.

You'd pay a LOT more to convert it than you could ever save.
