Alternator Cut-off switch

There have been a few posts about creating a alternator cut-off in some other forums but they were sporadic - kind of hit and miss. I would like to start some serious discussion on the topic.

What wires are supposed to be spliced? Are there any risks (i.e. computers, alternators etc..)? The wide open throttle switch would be awesome. Has anyone designed one? I know I'm not the only one looking for that extra power when standing on the gas!

Anybody have some miles under their belt with this mod? Lets hear from you.

I am also interested in this topic I have an older F150(94). I have designed a plate that will fit under the cover that the twin TB are located. I stoped there because I couldn't figure out which wires to splice also. More information on this topic would be helpfull. thanks to all.
