broken driveshaft

Has anybody broken their front driveshaft. I was just changing my oil when i found it hanging there. It looks as if it twisted and snapped. I find it strange bcuz I only have 7k miles and maybe 50 miles w 4x4 engaged.
It should be covered by warranty but should I pull the mud grapplers off.
Even though it shouldn't have anything to do with it, I just dont want any problems getting it covered. What do you guys think pull em offf ? thanks

OK, fess up, what did you do? LOL.

Seriously though, I can't see the dealership giving you any problems about having after market tires on. If you still have the old tires, and you're that worried about it, then go for it. Sorry to hear about your misfortune, but I guess that is what warranties are for, hope it all works out.
