how do i tell what gear ratio i have

I was wondering how i check to see what rear end i have? The code on the door jam says axle:19 i dont know what that means.

I thought i had posi cause i spun the tires on the grass and both tires spun mmmm

Just because you have an open rearend does not mean that only one tire is powered at a time. It is entirely possible to spin them both as long as they are on the same type of surface and have the same amount of traction.

You have to put it in neutral and jack up one rear wheel. If you can turn it easily and the driveshaft rotates, you don't have limited slip.

Very true. If your clutches are worn out, then you effectively do not have limited slip.
