ive been researching precisions, yukons, motives, all of em.

I have yet to find a ring and pinion set that legitimately costs 500 bucks and an install kit that costs 500 bucks.

1250 front and back is pretty good though. That included installation right?

It should have included the install. If it didn't just find another shop. Most people have theirs done for between $1100 and $1600 total, parts and labor. I had mine done for just over a grand.

They're actually probably not that crazy because you know there are people out there who would pay that much. It's always good to be an informed consumer.

It'll definitely be nice. Just don't get too exctied, because your truck will pretty much just be like it was stock. I couldn't wait to have my gears installed, but was actually a little disappointed when I got the truck back. It certainly helps a lot, but it's not incredibly drastic.

So i picked up the truck saterday, wasnt quit what i was thinking....
it gets up and gose more then what it did but it threw my spedometer off really bad,
it used to be when i was going 60 it would say 55, now it says 60 when im going 45.
its also counting mile like nothing.. the odometer is messed up.

Mile age went from 10.6 to 14.

how do i fix these things

You have no programmer i assume??
That will fix all of your problems and give you some more power.
Head down to the chips section.

Also how much did it cost you for labor?

with the yukon gears tomson center or master install and diff cover was 1350 for front and rear, it was the best price i could find.
and ive been looking at the programers i want the edge but the said hipertech, what do you think and i though it voided my engine warranty

I myself prefer custom tunes after having the edge prior to my troyer tunes.
Ya you have a new truck and you don't want to void the warranty.
There was a thread about using tuners and voiding warranty....i'll see if i can find it.
Here it is.... https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=305713

Also i would say if you don't get the tuner your dealer should be able to fix the problem for you.
