How can I tell what gears I have?

I have a 2004 F-150 FX4, SCREW. I am wondering if I have the 3.55's or the 3.73's. I will be putting 33 on next week and I hope I have the 3.73's. Also if I did order a set of the 4.10's what is a good price for the labor to install them. I have heard horror stories of problems after swapping out gears. Howling noises and truck never quit running the same. Must have been a bad install. Thanx in advance for any help.

Thanks, I'll give the inside door sticker a look and see what I come up with.

Should have read a little deeper into some of the other threads.

I thought maybe all the FX4's had the same gears but that maybe isn't the case.

So I found the code - B6 - 3.73 limited slip. Going to be getting the 325-60-18 Extreme A/T's. Just from reading a few posts it sounds like I should be ok with this set up and going to 4.10's may be a waist of money. Any thoughts on this?

That's a little over a 33" tire. With a 5.4 I'd say don't bother with gears. If you had a 4.6 then maybe, but you'll still have plenty of ***** to run those tires. Regearing is expensive and I'd say unless you need it (or are into racing) then don't bother.
