squeaking noise while driving

squeaking noise while driving

I noticed a squeaking sound wheile driving with my windows downs today. I was driving around 30mph, but when I slowed down or spead up so did the sound. I know its not my brakes, because I just got new brakes. Any sugestions?

Check your u-joints, how many miles are on ur truck and does it see mud, sand, or water alot!

I have 101,000 miles on it, and no my truck has never seen mud or sand.

well u can lay under it and look at the u-joints and tell if they are bad. the rear u-joint is known for going bad in these trucks i replaced mine at 75,000

Lightly apply the parking brake while at the 30mph roll, and listen for the squeak to change....
