what type of fluids to use?

I have a 93 5.0 liter 4x4 wit AOD tranny.
The local Ford dealer is no help. What fluids should I use for the transfer case, rear diff and tranny?

thanks to all

While being kinda spendy, you can't go wrong with synthetics. MerconV for the trans. and 75w140 for the gears. But in light of the $$$, regular Mercon and dino 90w will be fine for this application.

I use Amsoil in everything...ATF in the tranny, transfer case, and power steering, and appropriate weight gear oil in each axle.

At my shop, for any high performsnce (usually AMG or any UNIMOG) engine we use good ole dino oil from SWEPCO. Their gear lube is by far one of the best around. Over 25 years in business and have yet to come across a better heavy duty gear lube. As for motor oils we have changed quite a bit. They do also make great motor oils for both gas AND diesal. If your at all interested let me know and I will see how best I can help out (should be fairly cheap for ANY fellow F150online.com member). As for tranny fluid, any name brand synthetic ATF would be fine... dont know too much about that year tranny).

P.S. I see your new, so Welcome to the site!
