do i really need to regear?
hello,
sorry if this has already been asked. i have a 2004 screw 4x4, 5.4l, and 3.55 gears. my plans are to add 33 inch tires, xcal 3, and a scan gauge. i tow a 7x16 enclosed 5,000-6,000 pound trailer. my question is this: as long as i am happy with the power output w/ the xcal3 and i monitor my tranny temps w/ the scan gauge, am i going to kill my transmission (or anything else) by not regearing?
thanks
