power steering system

Hi guys,
I have a 91 4x4 that has serious power steering issues
it leaks all the time, and has that classic ford truck "i've got a cat in my serpentine belt" whine. i've been shopping for a new pump but i'm not sure which one to get, theres a metric fitting and a standard fitting, how do i know which one is which, also if anyone else has/had these problems, i can use as much help as possible to know what all i need to replace,

Thanks
btw specs: 91 F-150 4x4 5.0, E4OD, B/W transfer case, 8.8 outback, Dana 44 up front.

this is ridiculous, i'm honestly let down, I know for a fact this is a common problem with these trucks, and i'd have done better off just asking a guy on the street, you guys are a great help

Have you tried posting in the pre-97 forum yet? This site is primarily for 97-03's.

Scroll down the index page a bit farther, you will find it.
