Automatic transmission. When I use manual 4x4 shifter to go to 4 low while in neutral I get 4x4 dash indicator and 4 low dash indicator and everything works the way its supposed to. When I move manual 4x4 shifter to 4 high, I get no 4x4 dash indicator and front tires do not turn although the driveshaft from transfer case to front differential does not turn freely until shifted to 2 high. Any ideas? I am drifting towards some kind of switch in transfer case. Thanks, Pete

 

Check the switch just below the breather barb. Unplug it, shift into 4Hi and ground the Gray with Yellow striped wire. The 4x4 indicator should turn on and the front wheels should see power. If this works replace the switch. The GEM needs this circuit to be grounded to activate the center axle engagement.
