hello all i am new to the site and am sorry if this is in the wrong area. here is my problem. i have a 01 f150 and when i try to use the 4x4 switch on the dash nothing happens. i have checked fuses per book where thay are located and all are fine. now i have a friend with a f150 also so i pulled my switch out and put in his truck and and i know my switch is good. his engaged and a sound in the dash also his light comes on 4x4 on instrument panel. also i have read sometimes the moter on transfer case needs to be bumped while switching the 4x4 switch on and off that also did not work. yet again im at a loss.as i have checked power to my switch and seems to run off ground per my test light. still not sure what else to check am i missing some fuses or relays somewhere. any info would help. also again i am sorry if is in wrong area.
