Axle seal or caliper leaking brake fluid. Shouldn't be too hard to figure out which one. Axle seal failure seems to be a common problem.

Thanks Roadie, This repair won't be easy....I may as well do both sides, while I'm at it. I won't be getting to it for a few weeks.
I'll try an do a "How To" on it when I get to it.
Let's see what some others think.....

Axle seal most def. Gotta open the diff for that one. If you know what your doing its pretty easy.

Mjb I wonder if I've ever seen you around. I am in stoughton area all the time. Maybe we can get a meetup going or something for us here in the area

Thanks Guys, I replaced both rear seals yesterday.
Followed Quintins' directions and it went great.
Whole thing took about 5hrs.
The only difference- mine is a 8.8, non-limited slip and it only took 2 1/2 qts. of new oil.
Sampson, (not sure if you got my pm) sounds like a plan.
