Gears question

Gears question
Ok, so I've been looking into some new gears for when I make the switch to 33" tires. If my rear end is already LS, if I swap gears to 4.10s (1st link), will I still have the LS? Or do I have to buy the way more expensive tru trac gears (2nd link) to keep the LS?

Sorry if this is an obvious answer...I'm a little ignorant when it comes to gearing :o ...but I do know I don't want to go overgear with 4.56s, but would possibly consider 4.30s. 33" tires are as big as I plan to go.

yep. if you swap the gears out it will change your gearing but wont affect your limited slip diff. reason being is that the gears dont make your differential limited slip or not. its the actual differential, like the one in link two would be great. although if i was spending money on my diff i would upgrade to a full locker or elocker. if its already LSD no point in blowin money on the same thing, ya know

if your 2wd, i recommend 4.30 for 33's. imo their the right combination! you wouldnt be overdoing it and still enough gear to really enjoy it. 4.56 with 35's. good luck. their worth it
