I guess it depends on how much you want one.
I upgraded my '04 F-150 Heritage to a LS and I'm glad I did because now I don't have to drive my F-250 V-10 4X4 every time it snows. With LS the F-150 is much better in snow and I don't drive the F-250 unless we get a lot of snow.
If you want to change your gearing that would be the time to do it (both LS & gear swap). I kept mine at 3.55.
