97 f150 mods

Alright, so heres the deal. First off me being a young one and starting to get into offroad excuse any retardedness i might have lol. When I get my lift and everything I want to run with 35" mud tires. A buddy is sayin that 35s are reachin the limit of my front axel (all stock). Which with the reasearch ive done seems like that is true. The truck will be used for offroad a decent amount. But i am wondering if there is anything I can do to my existing font axel, diff, ect to make it able to handle 35s? Or would the only way be doing an axel swap, and if so what kind of axel would I use? Probably wonnt be for quite a while cause funds are low. But I want to get all the stuff planned to I can just do it when i get the dough. Already know a decent amount about trucks and all the **** I gotta do. Pretty much helped build my friends truck lol, just to state that im not out in the blue on this.

its a straight axle? and most people have 35's on a 6" lift and do fine with them you shouldn't have any problems at all

your gonna be limited just like any other truck trying to drive into thick mud which isnt good really for any truck without solid built axles. its independent of tire size

and anything youll break a cv shaft not the axle

i think you will be fine with 35's. your motor will prolly bog down before you break a axle shaft.

just don't be aggressive with your truck when you go mudding like going through ruts at 30 mph, take it slow, crawl through the mud and you should be fine.
