See the other thread that's running right now...You don't have to regear both axles at the same time...you just can't use 4WD unless you do...period! I've been running with mixed gears for two years now! But, real winter is here and time to get her fixed.

Total for all. Didn't include shipping. With shipping it was $346. The gears alone were a woping $150 for Yukons. Maybe I got a deal

also, you said it came with a rebuild kit...those run around 250. If it was 346 for front, rear and rebuild, then damn, I've made my decision. Because im thinking about dropping them in without a rebuild because of money limits, then doing it in about 6 months or so.

I simply emailed him and said I wanted 4.11 gears and what was needed to install them. He sent me back a price of $310 for a master rebuild kit and 4.11's all from Yukon. I paid him and a week later it was sitting on my porch. If you don't want to do the full rebuild that's fine but you will have to find a shim kit. Personally I like the idea of having new Timken bearings and goodies in there. My rearend gets hit with slicks and 500ftlbs of torque so I can't take short cuts.
