Last night i cranked up my truck and i left it in 4x4 put it in drive and all wheels started spinnin then a loud clunk!So now my 4x4 isnt working well i messed around with it last night a good 10min the 4x4 light is on and it finally went in 4x4 well i parked it in the garage last night to get all the snow off the truck.This morning pulled out of the garage and put 4x4 on the light comes on but my 4x4 isnt working.I have a 2003 f150 so what do i need to look at

 

yea all four wheels were spinnin and i had throttle on it then the 4x4 caught and i heard a loud clunk.I parked it into the garage and it shouldnt be frozen up so something else has to be wrong.Just so yall know i started my truck like i turned the key lol not cranked as in lift the truck and i left it in 4x4.Okay so i just checked to see if the front driveshaft will turn when the 4x4 light is on and it does if this helps yall diagnose the problem.Yea the 4 wheel wasnt fully engaged and we have snow on the ground right now they were all spinnin and i gave it quite a bit of throttle then i heard a loud clunk. then no four wheel drive played around with it and finally got it engaged now i cant get it back to engage the 4x4.
