different heads on a 5.0
hello everybody,
i have a 1994 F150 4x4 with a 5.0L v8 and a 5 speed. i was told on another forum that if i swapped heads with a 5.8L and put a mild cam in it i would get a lot more power. has anybody done this? and a friend of mine said i would have to remap my EFI due to the different cam. any advice would be much appreciated.

yeah you can only get an e303 cam for the fuel injected motors and it dont really make that much of a difference not really worth the money either are heads until you make it carbureted then you can go crazy and see a big difference but if you wanna do it then e303 cam and some e-7 heads out of a ho motor or some gt40 heads
