3.55 -> 3.73 --- Is it worth it?
Hey guys,
I am currently running 3.55 gears in an open rear-end. I'm thinking about getting a locker and upping my gears to 3.73. Will the gear change be very noticeable or should I go ahead with 4.10's?
I use the truck as my daily highway driver, so mileage is a factor. I also use the truck for pulling in county fairs and I need a little more grip.
Is the change to 3.73 a good bang for the buck mod?
Any thoughts?

A change of .25 or so is not very noticeable. It becomes noticeable and worth the money at .50 or so. With a 4X4 it will be a very expensive mod for minimal results going from 3.55 to3.73. Gear changing time is also a good time to factor in the ratio of taller tires if you want those later.
