uggh...traction lok going out... anyone rebuild thiers

changed the fluid, put in additive too. its still grinding on acceleration while turning. traction lok clutches definately going out. 40k miles on a pampered truck!!!

anywho, i am somewhat mechanically inclined and prefer to work on my own vehicles when i can, anyone replace thier clutches on thier own? how involved is it?

moreover, will these d--- clutches go out again in another 40k miles? what other differential options are there for these trucks that will eliminate the clutches? any good lockers that are reasonable and streetable?
