gears, i dunno yalls

So i recently putt 33 procomp Xtream mts on the ford,
1999 f150 4x4 xlt 3.73s

Ive notice a lost in MPG, slow acceleration i dont like going over 2k rpms
i drive city, highway some times, dont really mind driving slow but still

my question is, should i re-gear to some 4.10s or 4.56s
i dont think they make 4.30s for 4x4

i wouldnt regear to 4.10's. the cost is way too much for such a little improvement in performance. i would just keep what you have honestly, unless you bump up to 35" tires, then 4.56 would be a good swap.

no, they dont make 4.30's for 4x4.

what size tire did you have before, that will also affect how off your speedo is. you have to take in the percentage of increase in tire diameter.

if you're not driving over 75mph I'd say get the 4.56s. You'll notice a huge improvement in acceleration and you'll be prepped for 35s later
