Need correct gear ratio info

With a 15 year old truck, I'd probably get master kits.

yes, you need the master install kit.

get the 4.56 gears.

Would ya happen to have a link for a master kit for the front and rear?

If you go to Randy's or ECG's website and look up ford, with 8.8 front and rear it will take to the install kits, for each axle.

I do not see the master kit listed for the front, you would need to call.

I have 4.88s in my 02 V8 but I had a TruTrac rear differential. It was an extra $600 but well worth the money. You can get a custom tuner and a tune to help out also.

And as far as the master kit could I use any master kit from any company?

I would highly recommend you buy the gears and the kits all from one vendor.

I would agree 100 percent. That way if there are fitment issues, they can not point fingers. Also a some places will cut you a deal if you buy gears and install kits together.
