Hello Everyone, I have replaced both the silonoid and both of the iwe and my 4 wheel will only work intermittenly.....any ideas? on a 04 fx4....just talked to a local mechanic and suggested putting lock outs in ? is that even possible?

 

Have you tried replacing the switch? seems like I heard once before that someone had that same issue and a new switch fixed it.

 

I had a problem in the past with it showing 4x4 on gage cluster but would not engage. Ended up a relay under hood. Currently out due to shift motor. Turn to 4x4 and nothing at all happens. Thought it may be GEM so took to dealer. $370 for diagnostics parts and labor...
