Front axle swap
Has anyone ever heard of someone swapping out the front axle POS for a solid axle on a 97 F150?

I am looking to design some brackets for leafs in the front with possibly a Dana 44. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, a lot of people have done this, i believe they use the axles out of 1978 ford trucks. There is a website with detailed instructions. Try doing a search on this site to find the address.
