Question How to install a speedo gear?

I bought the 21 tooth speedo gear I need to fix my speedometer. I had to drive an hour to get it and when I got it I looked at it and said "This is it??" Its a tiny purple piece that was $6. It was almost not worth the drive up there. ANyways, now I have it and I have no clue what to do with it. Does anyone know of any instructions on the net, or have any directions on how to install this little bad-boy?

It takes about 5 minutes to change on my truck. The vehicle speed sensor (VSS) is located on the drivers side of the trans near the tailshaft. It has two wires going into in and is held in with a pawl style clamp like a ignition distributor. Remove the clamp and pull the VSS out. There is a small clip that holds the gear onto the sensor. Pull the clip, remove the gear, replace the gear and clip and reinstall. Little or no trans fluid should leak out while you do this.
